To design a logical structure for a business, it is essential to ensure transparency in terms of the company’s areas of business and activities beforehand – otherwise it is not clear what exactly needs to be incorporated into the structure. This transparency cannot always be taken for granted, especially when new structures are developed. Based on the example of a family office, I am going to show how to use a portfolio to ensure an effective, systematic approach.
