Studied German and French Linguistics and Literature at the Universities of Basel and Tours (France), graduating lic.phil.I in 1998 Followed by studies at the Medienausbildungszentrum (MAZ – Media Training Centre) in Lucerne, graduating with Diploma in Journalism in 2000

Professional experience:

1994 – 2000: Substitute teacher for French and German at various Swiss Baccalaureate and secondary schools After graduation, two-year internship as a journalist at a local newspaper in the Basel region 2000 – 2006: Economic Editor at a big Swiss daily newspaper. Deployments with the newspaper in Brussels and Madrid, then maternity leave 2007 – 2010: Economic Editor at the Beobachter, the biggest Swiss advice and consumer magazine Since 2012: After another period of maternity leave, Relocation Specialist, Educational Consultant and Specialist for International Employments and Social Security at Transforma Ltd.
