1994 – 1997: Studied law at the University of Bern, graduating lic. iur. 1997: Admission to the bar 2001: Certification as a mediator from the Chicago Center for Conflict Resolution 2002: LL.M. at Northwestern University, Chicago, focusing on corporate law, business transactions and alternative dispute resolution

Professional experience:

Broad and diverse international experience in private legal practice (among others, top-tier law firms in Zurich and Milan and a boutique firm in Chicago), in public administration and in cross-border cooperation 2001 – 2002: Adjunct professor for ‘Negotiation and Mediation’ at Northwestern University School of Law Significant experience in interest-based mediation as both a coach and a mediator (mediated more than 130 disputes) 2005 – 2014: Director at a Swiss private bank and a Swiss asset management firm in various capacities (business development, advisory and relationship management) Board positions at a Lux SICAV and SIF SICAV Since 2019: Legal counsel at Transforma Ltd.
